Building Confidence for the Road Ahead
An unexpected pregnancy raises many questions and practical concerns. You may be wondering how to afford what you need, whether you have enough support, and whether you are prepared for everything that comes with parenting.
At Alpha House, we offer free education and material assistance to help you feel equipped for this time in your life. These services are available to both women and men.
Classes & Mentoring
Our education program uses BrightCourse, an online curriculum designed to help you grow in knowledge and confidence as you prepare for parenting. Topics cover pregnancy, infant care, relationships, finances, and more. Both men and women are welcome to participate.
Additionally, we take pride in building strong relationships between clients and mentors. After your pregnancy is verified, you will be paired with a dedicated mentor for one-on-one consultations.
Your mentor is someone genuinely invested in your well-being, someone who will show up consistently as you navigate your current situation and this chapter of life. They’re here to offer the emotional support you deserve as you decide what comes next.
Whether you’re seeking additional information about your pregnancy options, facing a life challenge, or need someone to speak to, we’re here for you.
Earn Material Aid
As you engage in classes and meet with your mentor, you earn points that can be used to “purchase” needed material items. Items available include:
- Maternity clothing
- Baby clothing and essentials
- Diapers, wipes, and formula
- Baby equipment (car seats, strollers, pack-n-plays, and more)
- Furnishings and other items for your growing family
Referrals for Post-abortion support
Recovering from an abortion can be difficult emotionally, and it may create challenges you were unprepared for. You might wonder what resources are available to help you navigate this time and find healing.
We’re here for you. Our mentors provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space to process your emotions. We also provide referrals for various services, including:
- Healing retreats
- Support groups
- Mental health counseling
Remember, you are not alone. There’s a place for you here.
